9.5.1 Macintosh Downloads Page
Download Instructions
Mac OS X users- please note that 9.5.1 requires Mac OS 10.1 or higher.
International users- please note that if you use a hardware dongle under MacOS X, you need Mac OS X compatible drivers. If you already use Vectorworks 9.5.0 with MacOS X, you do not need to install drivers, as they were included with the Vectorworks 9.5.0 installer. Otherwise, you can obtain the Mac OS X dongle driver installer here. If your dongle protected Vectorworks is launching in demo mode on Mac OS X, running this installer is the likely solution.
Step 1
Determine if you have
the correct version for updating. The updater
will update all English-language 9.5.0 products
to 9.5.1. These products include: Vectorworks,
ARCHITECT, LANDMARK, ARCHITECT with LANDMARK,
SPOTLIGHT, and Renderworks. If
you are a MECHANICAL user, please contact our
Customer Service Dep't at 410-290-5114.
If you do not have 9.5.0 or are not sure that your update will work, please contact sales@nemetschek.net or call 410-290-5114.
Step 2
Quit all other applications, except your web browser.
Step 3
For Mac OS 8.6 and 9.x users, confirm that CarbonLib
1.2.5 or higher is installed in your Extension
folder (we recommend CarbonLib 1.5). If it is not,
please visit Apple's downloads page. Download
CarbonLib and install it according to Apple's
instructions.
Step 4
Download the installer and refer to the Read-me
file for installation instructions.
Step 5
Launch the 9.5.1 update installer.
The update installer will create a new 9.5.1 folder
and will leave your existing 9.5.0 folder intact
and unchanged.
Web-based installers
Self-contained installers
We recommend using the web-based update installers above as they are optimized to download only what you need to update the product you own. Please try the web based update installer above first.
If you have trouble using the web-based update installer, we are providing a self-contained update installer which contains everything necessary in a single download. For some users it may be easier to download this larger file overnight with a download client which can automatically resume failed downloads.
