VectorWorks International Artistic and Sketch Rendering Design Competition Begins Today Columbia, Maryland (March 9, 2005) Nemetschek North America announced today that it is accepting entries for the VectorWorks International Artistic and Sketch Rendering Design Competition. Until May 1, 2005, all users can submit drawings or renderings created using the innovative, non-photorealistic 2D and 3D artistic rendering capabilities found in RenderWorks and the new sketch rendering technology found in the latest 11.5 release of the VectorWorks Industry Series. "We're excited to see what our users can create using the new artistic and sketch rendering technologies within our VectorWorks Industry Series," said Dan Monaghan, Nemetschek North America's director of marketing. "We look forward to sharing contestants' efforts with everyone who makes client presentations, so they can see just how impressive their CAD presentations can look." Users of VectorWorks ARCHITECT, VectorWorks LANDMARK, VectorWorks SPOTLIGHT, VectorWorks MECHANICAL, or RenderWorks can submit entries to six categories: building/architecture, landscape design, lighting/set design, mechanical design, general design, and educational design. Winners will be chosen through public voting on the company's website. Category winners will receive a Hewlett Packard DesignJet 110 Plus Thermal Inkjet printer. The grand prize winner will receive an ENCAD T200+ plotter. In addition, all winners will receive free national publicity. Public voting begins May 16 and ends May 31, 2005 .
